Job Summary
The Elementary School Teacher will deliver engaging, interactive, and age-appropriate lessons across all major foundational subjects. While instructing a general curriculum, candidates are required to have key specialization or strength in at least one or more major subjects for primary and junior high school.

The successful educator will play a critical role in nurturing literacy, numeracy, fluency in Standard English, problem-solving, and top-notch reading comprehension. By integrating educational technology and creative hands-on activities, the teacher will create a safe, inclusive environment that fosters intellectual curiosity, discipline, and strong moral values.

Key Responsibilities
1. Instruction & Classroom Management

• Curriculum Delivery: Plan and implement comprehensive lesson plans covering Mathematics, General Science, English Language/Literacy, and Social Studies.
• Pedagogical Strategies: Utilize diverse teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles, keeping lessons impactful and enjoyable.
• Positive Discipline: Maintain an orderly classroom using positive behavior reinforcement techniques rather than punitive measures.
• EdTech Integration: Incorporate Google Classroom and other digital tools into daily lessons to enhance learning outcomes.

2. Student Assessment & Progress Monitoring

• Evaluation: Assess students' academic performance regularly through structured tests, quizzes, and homework assignments.
• Feedback: Provide timely, constructive feedback to students and submit comprehensive progress reports to school administrators.
• Intervention: Proactively identify students needing additional academic support and implement target interventions to bring them up to speed.

3. Administration & Collaboration

• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date classroom records of student attendance, behavior logs, and academic grades.
• Stakeholder Communication: Participate in staff meetings, coordinate with fellow teachers for a cohesive school culture, and communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s well-being.
• Duty Supervision: Supervise student cohorts during lunch, recess, and external school activities as required.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements

• Education: Minimum of a Certificate in Education or a related field.
• Licensure: Must hold a valid teaching certification or national teaching license.
• Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of classroom experience as an elementary teacher is preferred. (Note: Entry-level candidates demonstrating high potential and passion are also eligible to apply).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools and Google Classroom is considered a distinct advantage (Plus).
