SOS Children’s Villages in Liberia is seeking a passionate, compassionate, and dedicated Nurse Aide to join its medical team at the SOS Medical Center in Monrovia to support the delivery of quality, responsive healthcare services.

Working closely with physicians, professional nurses, and clinical staff, the Nurse Aide will play a vital role in providing essential patient care, maintaining accurate health information, and supporting clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care Support: Assist nurses and physicians in routine patient care activities, including preparing patients for examinations or clinical procedures.
• Vital Signs & Monitoring: Accurately measure and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
• Patient Assistance: Support patients with personal hygiene, feeding, mobility, and basic daily care needs.
• Clinical Maintenance: Ensure exam rooms and clinical areas are clean, organized, and ready for patient care; strictly participate in infection prevention and control measures.
• Logistics & Confidentiality: Transport specimens, medications, and supplies as required while upholding professional ethics and strict patient confidentiality.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Certificate in Nurse Aide or Practical Nursing from a recognized medical institution.
• Work Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in a healthcare or hospital setting.
• Clinical Credentials: Must hold a valid professional license/certification to practice.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural healthcare environment.
• Digital Literacy: Basic computer literacy is considered an added advantage.
